Your rent explained
You will receive a rent statement every three
months. If you are unsure about anything that appears on your
statement, please contact your Housing Officer whose name and phone
number is shown on the statement.

Charge Breakdown
Details your rent and all charges such as Water and Sewerage
Charges, Insurance etc.
Date
The date of each transaction
Charge
This is the total amount of the charges listed under 'Charge
Breakdown' and is the total amount payable each week before any
Housing Benefit has been credited to your account.
Payments
Shows all payments of housing benefit and all payments you make.
This column could also include cheques or Direct Debits returned
unpaid by your bank, which will appear with DR at the site.
Balance Due
Shows the balance of your rent account after each transaction.
CR means your account is in credit by this amount.
Court Costs/Credits
Any Court costs added to your account along with any payments
you have made will be listed separately under this
heading.
