Blooming in the Borough

| Our tenants are being given the opportunity to flaunt their flowers again in the search for the best garden in the borough.
For the fourth year running RBH is taking part in the Council’s Borough in Bloom competition and prizes are being awarded for the best garden by a council tenant in each of our housing management areas.
Communities First Coordinator, Ruth Sillence, said: “This is a great way for tenants to improve their environment and get involved in an exciting event that brings people together from all walks of life,”
“You don’t need to be an Alan Titchmarsh or even a green fingered goddess you could simply spruce up your garden boxes or brighten up a communal area with some colourful flowers and plants.”
Shortlisted entrants will be treated to a presentation lunch in the autumn and there will be trophies and prizes awarded to eventual winners.
“There’s a category to suit everyone,” added Ruth. “So, get in touch and we’ll send you an entry form.”
