Rochdale has an excellent record and reputation
for promoting equality and cohesion. This was once again
demonstrated via the award winning partnership work between
agencies and communities during the EDL demonstrations earlier this
year. And there are many other examples of good work on promoting
equality within the borough. In order to recognise this excellent
work and to celebrate the positive impact these have, KYP are now
building on the successful Ethnic Minority Business Awards and
initiating the Rochdale Diversity Awards.
