Planned Maintenance - Boiler Controls
If you have had a new boiler fitted your Development Officer will provide detailed user instructions and advice about how to obtain the most efficient use of your new boiler. You will also be given a manufacturers operating manual. Please see below for a quick guide to your boiler controls GeneralEnsure that the main electrical isolating switch is in the 'on' position. ProgrammerCheck that the clock is set to the correct time of day by rotating the dial clockwise so the correct time is in line with the raised arroww with 'time' written against it. Set the heating / how water switching programmes (sliding switches) to the desired positions as shown below.
Room thermostatSet the room thermostat to the required temperature. This will turn the heating off when the room, where the thermostat is fitted reaches the desired temperature. Depending on where the room thermostat is fitted the following settings are recommended:
