Planned Maintenance - Partnering
Partnering is a progressive approach to working in a contractual relationship, where the emphasis is to work towards mutual goals for the benefit of the project and not the individual organisations. The partnering principles and concepts areencouraged by various government bodies and seen as a key step in the modernisation of the construction industry.
It encourages the partners to work together in a relationship of trust and understanding, and by placing emphasis on teamwork and open communication it can significantly reduce the costs associated with delivering large projects.
In addition, partners monitor agreed areas of performance on the project to promote an active search for innovation and continuous improvement in all aspects of the work.
RBH and Bramall Construction will continue to utilise and develop the partnering approach that has proved so successful in the past three years, providing demonstrable cost and time savings and increased value for money for the residents of the Rochdale borough.
