Domestic violence - Court Orders The Homelessness Section can also advise you on Court Orders: A Non-Molestation Order is about behaviour. It can stop someone pestering, threatening, or being violent to you or any children you have. An Occupation Order is about the home. It can: - Order the violent person to leave the home; - Order the violent person not to come near the home; - Order the violent person to allow you to enter or stay in the home; - Decide what rights you or the violent person has to live in the home. You will need a solicitor to get a Court Order. Information on local solicitors is also available from the Homelessness Section. Domestic Violence
