Tenants and Residents Associations (TRAs)

These groups are made up of local volunteers who represent tenants, leaseholders and residents living in their neighbourhood. 

TRAs are formally constituted groups that represent a particular area, perhaps a block, street or whole Council estate.  Each group has a committee made up of a chair, vice chair, secretary, treasurer and committee members drawn from the local community.

The association works closely with local residents, Rochdale Boroughwide Housing and Rochdale Council to ensure that residents views in their neighbourhood are fully represented and that tenants are involved in decisions which affect them.

Rochdale Boroughwide Housing provides a wide variety of support to tenants and residents associations.
