Working Xtra
Working Xtra is a housing initiative that gives
people in employment and volunteering priority to housing.
You can apply for a Working Xtra property if
you are:
- In work and can provide 3 months or 12 weekly payslips with
your application form. It doesn’t matter if live or work within or
outside of the borough.
and/or
- Volunteer within the borough for 16 or more hours per month and
have done so for 6 out of the past 9 months. You must be able to
provide written details from the organisation you volunteer
for.
All you need to do is complete an application form and provide
the relevant information. You can then look at which properties are
advertised and place an expression of interest on the properties
you wish to be considered for.
