ESTATE SURGERIES
The Neighbourhood Housing Officers are getting
out and about offering customers the opportunity to come and see
them at estate based surgeries. Neighbourhood Housing
Officers now have technology which will enable them to provide
up-to-date information on a wide range of RBH enquiries.
Paul Helm, Housing Officer for the EMB at Turf
Hill, said “Having a laptop available at my weekly surgery allows
me to provide our tenants with a much improved service, as I can
now deal fully with most enquiries here on the estate. I can
deal with arrears, repairs and housing benefit queries and local
tenants who have come along have found this to be an easy,
convenient way to access our services. They know their
enquiry will be dealt with quickly, efficiently and
confidentially.”
A number of surgeries will also be offered at
our Sheltered Schemes. These will be advertised within the
schemes.
