Transfer of Housing -
TENANTS BACK HOUSING TRANSFER
In the ballot of Rochdale Council tenants 76%
of tenants
voted yes to support the transfer of housing to Rochdale
Boroughwide Housing. The result was announced shortly
after 8.00pm Wednesday 21st December 2011.

Over recent months, RBH has been working with tenants and employees
to develop a new ownership and governance model for the future of

A Constitutional Commission comprising elected tenants and
employees has now agreed the Framework for the rules of the new
mutual.

Our mutual vision began with the work of the Investment and
Involvement Commission.

In November 2010 we shared our vision with the mutual sector at the
2010 Mutuals’ Forum at the British Library in London.

timeless co-operative and mutual principles developed in Rochdale
