Our Mission, Vision and Values
The RBH Corporate Strategy has been developed to reflect
the transition of RBH from ALMO to a unique mutual society with
tenant and employee members at its heart.
RBH has a commitment to deliver a
series of Offer Document Promises made to tenants as part of the
transfer process while continuing to deliver stronger communities
and excellent services. This Strategy starts to set out the future
direction of the new mutual RBH – our values, our vision and our
mission – followed by the objectives and then specific targets,
projects and plans that support these.
Members have developed our values which underpin the
mutual RBH – describing the way we will try to behave, corporately
and individually. These values are:
- Responsibility – We take responsibility for,
and answer for, our actions
- Equity – We carry on our business in a way
that is fair and unbiased
- Democracy – We give our members a say in the
way we run our business
- Pioneering – We will seek to be a leader in
the way we meet challenges and seek solutions
- Openness & Honesty – We will share
information, do what we say we will do and when we make a mistake
we will own up to it
- Caring – We will listen and respond to the
needs of our members, tenants and employees
- Championing – We will encourage members to
take responsibility for our communities and work together to
improve them.
Tenant and employee members elected to the Shadow Representative
Body have worked to develop a new Vision and Mission which reflect
the aims of our new mutual organisation.
Our vision describes where we want the mutual
RBH to be in five years time:

achieve:
Meet the
aspirations of our communities by providing inclusive opportunities
and quality homes in safe, secure and friendly neighbourhoods where
people want to live and work.
